Physical Therapy Assistant / Full or Part-Time

 

Are you tired of treating to many patients and writing way too many notes every day?

Physical Therapy Doctors of Florida is growing and is seeking an experienced, customer-service focused part or full-time orthopedic physical therapy assistant (24-40 hrs/wk). Candidate must be interested in putting patients first and spending considerable time with each patient.

Physical Therapy Doctors of Florida is an independent Physical Therapist owned practice that puts patients first and provides each patient with 55-minutes of one-on-one treatment.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience, be outgoing, energetic, and confident with a strong desire to help build a world-class company that can provide patients with “real” physical therapy care.

The PTA will have their own schedule, work one-on-one with each patient, and see no more than 8 patients a day. They will be responsible for both manual and exercise treatments as PT Doctors does not employ any aides. They will report to and work directly with only one or two PT's.

  • Outpatient Experience Required - 1+ years preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Graduation from an accredited physical therapy assistant program.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience as an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist.
  • Certification: Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Florida.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
